Empowering Rural Women in Pakistan: Audiopedia and Aurat Raaji's Innovative Listening Parties
Audiopedia Foundation joined forces with Aurat Raaji, a Pakistani NGO, in a groundbreaking project financed by ifa (Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen). This collaboration aimed to empower rural women in Sindh, Pakistan by providing them with digital literacy training and access to vital information. At the core of this project was the concept of listening parties or listening groups, which helped bridge the gap between digital content and rural communities.

Using Audiopedia to Empower Rural Women in Nicaragua
This February we kicked off our latest project in the Masaya region of Nicaragua. Our partner organization for this project is Pro Mujer, one of the largest women's organizations in Latin America. This non-profit organization offers women financial inclusion, health and education programs. Since its foundation in 1990, Pro Mujer has reached more than 2 million women in the region.

Empowering Uganda: Transforming Health Education and Community Resilience
From October 19th to November 1st, 2017 we were traveling in Uganda. More specifically, in the region around Kyamulibwa, in southwestern Uganda (Masaka district). There we started distributing the first 100 Audiopedia players (another 400 will follow in the upcoming weeks and months).

Bringing Health Education to 3840 Rural Women in Tanzania
Our project in Tanzania is developing very nicely. Our local partner New Dawn Development is proceeding with the distribution of 500 MP3forLife Players to almost 4000 rural women. We are receiving very positive feedback from women and government officials.
